4 am chat with my 9 year old...
I was up early writing my blog...(yeah, Jet-lag does that to you!) and my little one woke up shortly wondering what I was up to...I asked him if he was up for an interview for my blog? Enjoying the attention, he promptly said, "yes, but only after I eat that leftover Paav Bhaji from last night"....Jet-Lag does that to you too...you feel hungry at odd times!
Here is a verbatim summary of my 1st episode of "Koffee with Kanish"
How do you feel about this move? I feel that I will get better education and its always fun to live in your home country.
I thought you are born in US? How is India your home country? It is not my home country but that’s where my mom was born so that makes me Indian too.
Why are you moving, what’s your goal? To get into IIT, India Institute of technology.
Why IIT? Because its the best engineering college in the world and because I like to construct things and work out how to use them.
Are you ready for school and learning new languages - Hindi/Sanskrit? Yes am excited to learn new languages.
How will you adapt to this change? I guess just do what everybody else does and act normal.
That’s it? I mean what else is there to do!
What will you miss? I will miss my friends and a clean country.
What will you not miss? Nothing really.
What do you think about the hot weather today? I think I should wear some sun screen and get used to it.
